Connect your Google Ads account
This guide will walk you step by step to connect your Google Ads account to CentrAds.
Prerequisites before connection
Before connecting your Google Ads account to CentrAds, make sure you meet the following requirements:
1. Have a Google Ads account
If you don't have a Google Ads account yet, you can easily create one:https://ads.google.com/home/
2. Have an active and valid account
Your Google Ads account must be active and in good standing. Check that your account status is marked as active in your Google Ads interface.
3. Set up a validated payment method
Your account must have a billing wallet configured and validated. If not done yet, check this guide:https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/2375375
4. Be up to date with your invoices
Make sure there are no unpaid invoices or outstanding balance on your Google Ads account.
5. KYC validation (if necessary)
Some Google Ads accounts require identity validation (KYC). If this is your case, you must have completed this verification before connecting your account to CentrAds.
Step 1 : Access My Platforms
- Once all prerequisites are met, go to the "My Platforms" section in the left menu of your CentrAds dashboard.
Step 2 : Connect Google Ads
- On the My Platforms page, locate the Google Ads row and click the "Connect" button on the right.
Step 3 : Authorize CentrAds
- You will be automatically redirected to a Google authentication page.
- Important: Please accept all requested permissions. CentrAds needs these permissions to manage your ad campaigns and access performance data.
Step 4 : Check connection status
- Once authorization is granted, you will be redirected to the My Platforms page.
- Your Google Ads connection status will be displayed:
- Valid account: Your account is properly connected and ready to use
- Invalid account: An error message will specify the problem encountered.
- If your account is not validated, check the error message and fix the problem then click the refresh button next to the account.
Step 5 : Link your account to a Business
- Final step: you must now associate your Google Ads account with one of your CentrAds Businesses.
- In the My Platforms section, use the dropdown next to your Google Ads account to select the Business you want to link it to.
